Cooler weather is FINALLY here in LA, and one of my must-have staples for winter is a great pair of over-the-knee boots! They are universally flattering to every body type, so versatile, and manage to be simultaneously classic and modern. I love wearing them with everything from minidresses to jeans as I’ve shown them here. I found my perfect pair, the Seania boot, at ALDO!
Finding the right pair can be tricky…A few things to look for:
1. Fit. It’s important to find a pair that fits just right! You don’t want the boots to be too tight at the top because that can be very unflattering to your thighs. You also want to be sure they fit close to the ankle and maintain the shape of your leg.
2. Structure. Another important element to the perfect boot is structure. You want to find a pair sturdy enough to stay up on the leg. There’s nothing more annoying than having to pull up your boots all day as you walk around because they don’t have a strong frame.
3. Material. Over-the-knee boots are super sexy, but can easily look cheap if made from the wrong materials. The Seania is made from leather and has a beautiful, soft, suede finish. 
Love the pointed toe and narrow heel which really help elongate your legs!
