Happy Friday my loves!! I’ve had a busy busy week getting ready for two back-to-back trips! Today I’m off to Cannes with my L’Oréal fam and then I’m heading straight to Rome with Blvgari. As much as I love travelling and working, it can become really draining to my body and skin after the end of it. With all the long flights, time changes, weather changes etc..I’ve learned a lot about how my skin adapts to travel and have nailed down a beauty/skincare routine on-the-go! Of course everyone’s skin reacts to travel differently, but it’s always important to make sure you have the right products to take care of your skin! After a 20 hour airport/plane experience, your skin needs more than it’s usual amount of hydration.
A lot of you have asked about my beauty/skincare routine when I travel, so today I wanted to share my favorite products that I bring with me everywhere I go!!
Cleanse
Bioderma Cleansing Water (Sensiblo H20)
I’m on my third bottle of Bioderma’s H20 Cleansing Water!! I loooove using micellar water to remove my make-up and this has been my favorite. To me, it feels like the most natural way to take my make-up off because it literally feels like you’re putting water on your skin, but manages to take off every last trace of make-up..seriously the best!!
Clarisonic ‘Mia’ Cleansing Brush
The clarisonic continues to be my favorite cleansing brush. I always use the ‘Radiance’ brush heads because they have the softest bristles and gentle enough to use on your skin daily. I always bring my clarisonic with me anywhere I travel because without it, I don’t feel like my face is 100% clean before I go to bed!! You guys may think I’m a bit crazy..but I actually look forward to coming home at the end of a long day and cleansing my face with the clarisonic because my face always feels SO incredibly fresh and clean after that.
Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser
I love using a simple and easy foaming cleanser when I’m travelling. This cleanser by Caudalie is really natural and made up of grape extracts, sage and chamomile so I feel like it soothes my skin while removing my make-up. If your skin becomes more sensitive when travelling, this is a great cleanser because the chamomile actually helps eliminate all redness and blemishes!
Skin
Caudalie Vine [Activ] 3-IN-1 Moisturizer
The 3 words every girl wants to hear about her moisturizer..anti-pollution, anti-wrinkle and healthy glow :) This cream is from a new line Caudalie released about a month ago. Before this cream, I was using the pink moisturizing sorbet because it was a super light consistency, smelled like roses and always did the job. But I decided I needed to try out a more intense moisturizer and have been LOVING this one. I realized how important it is to have a multi-purpose cream like this that is hydrating but also protects your skin from all that pollution out there. This is especially important if you live in big urban cities and spent a lot of time outside!!
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
I’ve been using Caudalie’s Radiance Serum for a while now. Although it’s a bit pricey at $79 per bottle, it really does wonders for my skin. I actually love applying a light layer of this serum before applying my make-up because it gives my skin that nice glow from within! And I especially love using this when I travel because when I get more tan, my dark spots become more visible and this serum helps brighten and prevent new dark spots from forming! Just make sure you are still using a good SPF in conjunction with this serum and you’ll be good to go :) And lastly..I loooove how this serum feels on my skin..it’s so light and has a watery, gel like texture that blends seamlessly and leaves no weird residue like some other serums I’ve tried.
Biossance The Nourisher Oil
This rose oil by Biossance has become a staple in my skincare and travel routine. It feels so luxurious on my skin and smells soooo good!! The blend of roses and vitamin C keep my skin feeling really radiant and supple. I usually apply a few drops on my skin before I go to bed and sometimes in the morning when my skin needs an extra kick.
Masks
Fresh Rose Face Mask
Caudalie Glycolic Peel
Protect
Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray
I bring this with me everywhere I go!! I have the travel size bottle too! I’ve tried so many different facial mists..but I always go back to this one. I love the smell of rosewater!! This spray always leaves my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated and glowing :) The travel size bottle is really small and convenient to put in your purse and use whenever you feel like your make-up is getting droopy or your skin feels dehydrated.
Clarins Instant Lip Comfort Oil
My new obsession!! Clarins sent me a set of these lip oils a few weeks ago and I’ve been using them non-stop ever since. I usually don’t like using oils on my face and would have never though about using oils on my lips either..but Clarins really nailed it with these!! This product is basically a lip treatment oil that can be used as a lip gloss to provide plumpness and high-shine or as a ‘balm’ to nourish your lips. Each of the colors..candy, tangerine, mint, etc all smell SO yummy and give your lips a really natural, shiny finish without feeling oily or sticky. I love that I can carry this in my purse to use as my daily lip balm and also use it as a topper for my lipstick to get that nice glossy finish!
What are your favorite skincare and beauty products that you cannot travel without?! Let me know in the comments below :) Hope you loves have a fun and relaxing weekend!
