Rome I miss you already ♥ We just got back a couple days ago and have been catching up on work, sleep and trying to get rid of this jet-lag!! (any tips??) The past 10 days have been beyond crazy with 2 back-to-back trips, so it feels SO good to be home for a while. After Cannes, I went straight to Rome with Bulgari for the launch of their new fragrance, Goldea The Roman Night. I’ve been going through all my travel photos and there’s still so much I want to share about this beautiful city! So I put together a roundup of my trip and a travel guide for those of you who are interested in visiting Rome whether you’re planning a trip this summer or in the near future! There is so much to see in Rome and since we were only there for a few days, I made sure we took full advantage of those days and visit all the major sights. From hotels, restaurants, to must-see architecture, here is my ultimate guide to all my favorite spots! Hope you enjoy :)
Where To Stay:
Palazzo Dama
My first day in Rome with Bulgari! The team organized for our stay at the famous Palazzo Dama Hotel which is one of the most luxury hotels in Rome and also has an interesting history of hosting the lavish parties of Rome’s elite in the 18th century. The hotel has since been updated, but still has so much character with its glamorous chandeliers, marble pool, mirrored walls, and gold framed portraits.
Some goodies from Bulgari and the Goldea fragrance :) This perfume is the perfect combination of musky, floral and fruity..it features hints of black peony, jasmine, rose, and mulberry.

Hotel De Russie
Hotel Russie is a must-see when you’re in Rome. Even if you’re not staying there, I suggest to go in and take a tour of the hotel and book brunch at the terrace restaurant, Le Jardin de Russie. The hotel is truly a work of art in itself..the artwork on the walls and ceilings is beyond beautiful, the balconies are framed by blue shutters and coral tiles, and each suite is so unique with small details like roman mosaics and ornate features.
Where To Go:
Vatican
No words to describe this place. Everything from the architecture, art, sculptures, murals are things that you can’t find in any other place or culture. The Vatican is Rome’s most popular and busiest tourist attraction, so make sure you’re prepared for long lines and crowds. We visited the museums first and then went onto St. Peter’s basilica because there’s a passage directly from the Sistine Chapel. A good tip to keep in mind when visiting the Vatican area..especially during the summertime!
Colosseum
Views since 80 AD ;) Walking around historic sites like the Colosseum is so surreal because you really feel like you’re in ancient Rome. Although a lot of the architecture is ruins from ancient rome, it’s still so beautiful to see.
Trevi Fountain
Your trip to Rome cannot be complete without seeing the Trevi fountain aka one of the most beautiful fountains in the entire world! A fun fact is Fendi spent $2.2 million dollars refurbishing this fountain and now it looks even better than the last time I saw it! And don’t forget to throw a coin into the fountain..and maybe you will be returning to Rome sooner than you think :)
Casina Valadier
Casina Valadier has some of the best views in the city. It’s located on top of Pincio hill overseeing the entire city. Inside the Villa Borghese you can have a nice authentic Italian dinner with stellar views of the city..I highly recommend this for your last night in Rome!
Piazza Del Popolo- Spanish Steps
A Roman night I’ll never forget ♥ Still can’t believe Bulgari shut down the Spanish Steps for their launch event…can’t get any more major than that!! The event started with Bella Hadid walking down the iconic steps to present the launch of the fragrance alongside Bulgari’s CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin. Then the event continued at the Palazzo Nunez Torlonia where Bulgari set up a beautiful dinner with live music, cocktails and dancing.
Where To Eat:
Le Jardin De Russie
We went here for lunch on Saturday and this location could not have been more breathtaking!! This hotel is in a prime location, right in the busy centre of the city walking distance from all the major sights..but when you step inside it’s like a little oasis. The outdoor terrace is beyond beautiful and the restaurant is nestled in a quiet and charming garden surrounded by greenery and flowers. If you’re looking to have a nice and quiet brunch or romantic dinner away from all the noise and people, this the perfect spot! The menu has everything from homemade pastas, risotto, fresh seafood, meat and veggie options. My favorite dishes were the asparagus risotto, olive oil mash and wagyu beef!!
Dar Poeta
The best pizza in Romaaaa!! This pizza spot is nestled in a small street of Trastevere and is a popular hotspot for the locals..so you won’t be disappointed. My recommendation? The potato, proschutto, mushrooms, cheese pizza..too good!
