It’s the last month of summer and I’m trying to soak in all the sun before fall rolls in. For those of you who live in LA, you know how incredibly hot it’s been this summer, so staying posted by the pool has been necessary! Summer 17′ is all about the embellished slides..from pearls, tassels, and pom-poms- bedazzled is an understatement. I’ve been obsessing over this trend since Prada and Miu Miu introduced the faux-fur slides with chunky jewels! I’m all about being comfy on a pool day, but who wants to wear a boring pair of flip flops right?! I’ve been loving these slides to and from the pool and love the idea of being a bit bedazzled by the pool ;) This is one of my must-haves for staying stylish on a pool day! A Fun Swimsuit
A fun and playful swimsuit is a must for a pool day. Whether you are going swimming or not, make sure get a swimsuit that is flattering and makes you feel comfortable! Lately, I’ve been living in one-pieces and loving the versatility they offer..I can throw on a pair of high-waisted shorts or cover-up depending on the occasion!
Stunner Shades
I never leave my house without a cute pair of sunnies, especially if I’m going to the pool..sometimes I even bring 2 options lol! I love experimenting with new trends when it comes to sunnies because it’s the easiest way to add a fun element to your look! Not only will you look chic, but your eyes will be protected from the harsh rays. Some of my favorite sunglasses brands are Le Specs, Perverse, Sunday Somewhere and of course, Ray-bans!
A Good Statement Earring
As I’m sure you guys have noticed lately, I’ve been on a statement earring binge!! Believe it or not, statement earrings are my favorite must-have accessory for a pool day! I l think they are the perfect accessory to top off any pool outfit. I always stick to a colorful and playful choice like tassel or drop earrings.
A Cute Tote
Lately totes have been getting more and more stylish, from basket bags to totes featuring tassels and slogans like “life’s a beach.” I’ve been all about the woven straw bags this season, they are perfect for holding all your poolside essentials and will compliment your swimsuit.
