PRINCE

2016 has been a very interesting year so far in the world of hollywood. Only four months in and we have lost David Bowie, Alan Rickman and now the iconic, Prince. Of all of these tragic deaths, I would have to say that the one that has hurt the most is Prince. At the age of only 57years old, he left us all too soon, and while the world speculates all the reasons why and tries to make sense of this, I just wanted to take a moment to honor the life he lived, made great, and the reasons why I’m personally grateful to his excellence.

PRINCE

As you all know, music makes up a large part of who I am and you can be sure that Prince was a huge inspiration. He innovated pop music and changed the world with his sound. He showed us that everything about life is not so black and white. The way he presented himself within his music and lyrics revolutionized sexuality. His live shows and fashion sense questioned gender roles and his ambiguous sexuality was made cool and mainstream. Above all, he may have been one of the most talented musicians of all. He played 27 instruments both in studio while producing his own material, and on stage for the world to see.

PRINCE

There is so much about Prince that the world loves and will miss. However, even more than that, he will be celebrated and remembered for all the good he brought to this world with his music, his style, his films, and even his charity. Prince was a true triple threat and then some. We love you Prince, then, now, and always.
