You guys!!! Today is the day I finally get to share my new DREAM closet and vanity space with you!! I’ve been giving you guys a lot of sneak peaks along the way from the beginning, from inspo to installations, and seeing everything come together the way it did has been the most amazing feeling! As some of you may know, when we first moved into the apartment I planned on turning the second bedroom into an office/lounge space, so I left this room open to customize. When we finished our apartment makeover, it didn’t take me long to realize that I had run out of space for a lot of my accessories, shoes, makeup, products, etc and the last thing I wanted was to overcrowd my new apartment. I’ve always dreamt of having a custom closet in my home. My own oasis that I can walk into and feel inspired and creative, a place to put outfits together, make-up looks, and create fun and interesting content for you guys! Since I spend so much time working from home, it’s really important for me to have my own space that reflects my love for fashion and beauty! I’ve always loved the idea of having a custom closet where I can display my favorite pieces from clothing, accessories to beauty and more importantly, a go-to spot for shooting my Youtube videos! I’m often working around the clock and have a lot on my mind, so having a room to myself that is dedicated to fashion and beauty is so important!
I’m so lucky to have found Lisa, the founder and mastermind behind LA Closet Design to make my closet dreams come true! She is responsible for the closets of stars such as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Tyra Banks, and Monique Lhuillier to name a few, and I’ve been lucky enough to score a closet makeover with her! What impressed me the most was her ability to figure out my interior style and what I wanted in a custom closet space so quickly. One quick consultation was all she needed. The next thing I knew she had 3D renderings, color swatches, inspo images, furniture options…you name it! She is seriously such a boss lady!! Lisa and the LA Closet Design team made the process from start to finish so fun and easy..I loved seeing all her inspiration behind the closet and being part of the whole process.
What I love most about this space is how Lisa was able to create a room that was modern and elegant, yet incorporate just the right amount of glam elements that made it fun and girly. I’ve never had a custom closet, so my main concern was maximizing this smaller space and making sure it matched the rest of my apartment. My apartment is very modern, elegant and white with silver accents, so I really wanted this space to reflect a similar aesthetic. I remember looking at so many closet inspo photos and thinking I wanted to have a bit more fun with my dressing space, yet still keep it feeling classic and timeless..something that I wouldn’t get sick of after a few months. That’s where Lisa did such an incredible job. She was able to make the overall atmosphere of the space elegant, sophisticated and modern, yet incorporate just the right amount of playful and girly elements like the shag rug, tufted velvet ottoman, and crystal chandelier.

And now for my favorite part of the room..my vanity!! It turned out even better than I imagined! In the past year, I’ve been really immersed in beauty and something I’ve always dreamt of was having my own vanity space where I can sit down and create. The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Now that I’m filming Youtube videos every week, I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally have a space where I can have all my make-up organized and most importantly, sit down and shoot with no distractions. Make sure you guys are subscribed to my channel..you will be seeing A LOT more of this gorgeous vanity space :)
This room is moderately sized at best, so mirrors were such an important factor in making the space feel open and much larger than it is! I love the way Lisa positioned the mirrors to reflect the highlights of the room such as the floating vanity and impressive shoe display shelves!
I’m obsessed with my sheer white drapes from Galaxy Draperies! Galaxy did all the drapes for the rest of my apartment too and I got so many compliments and questions about them! Since I’ll be using this vanity/display room a lot for shooting purposes, I wanted to make sure to let in as much natural light as possible. I love how sheer and pearlescent these white drapes are and most importantly, they allow the light to filter in so nicely, perfect for shooting beauty tutorials!
The floating shelves and vanity were key in maximizing the use of space and making it feel as open as possible. I’m a very visual person, so being able to see all my options in one organized space is super important to me!
I’m obsessed with these custom drawer organizers in my floating vanity!! Now that I finally have all my make-up organized in one place, I’m so excited to start filming tons of beauty tutorials for my YouTube Channel and playing around with looks!
