Happy Tuesday babes!! I hope you guys are having a productive week :) I’ve had a busy couple weeks planning my baby shower and have been working on finalizing all the details this week! Now I’m sure some of you may remember I pulled off my gender reveal party with just 4 days of planning. So this time I gave myself at least one month of planning and now we’re down to the last few days!! After my gender reveal, I got so many messages and requests on all the DIY treats we made, so I really wanted to wait until my baby shower to film this type of video for you guys!
These days it seems like baby showers keep getting more and more extravagant and expensive. Last week I got to thinking about the days when you would just gather around in someone’s backyard, eat cake, and open presents…oh the good times. Now it’s all about the cute photo-opps, flower walls, and too-pretty-to-eat desserts! Now don’t get me wrong…I’m all about having a unique and creative baby shower that I’ll remember for years to come. But with my due date just being a month away, I still have so many things to do between getting together the nursery and buying last-minute necessities. So I really wanted to come up with some fun and easy DIY baby shower treats that won’t break the bank!! Watch my video to see all the steps you need to make pearl pretzel sticks, Oreo cake pops, ‘About To Pop’ popcorn bags, and floral and fruit ice!
